Thinking about the word, I did not see many ways to draw anything fluid in itself. And so I decided to work on the process of creation, these drawings were therefore done in a fluid manner, meaning quick and easy. And I think the end result still shows some of the essence of fluidity.

zero2illo interview
I am proud and happy to be featured on the excellent blog of Jonathan Woodward : zero2illo. I have been following this blog for some time now and I have to say it helped me a lot on the way to becoming an (almost) full-time illustrator and educator.
This post comes along with three illos I did, a full-length interview and you can find it here.
New drawing for the they draw & travel blog

Covered blog series
I have been a big fan of Robert Goodin’s covered blog for some time now. And over the last couple of years I did send him a few covers of my own making. Here is a series I particularly like. I keep thinking I’ll add to the series, I just haven’t gotten down to it yet. One day, maybe.

Duvel glass contest – I made it to the final
Last october, I took part in a contest for the design of a new Duvel glass. The first part of the contest was open to public votes. I was so happy with my design I harassed all of my friends and contacts to go and vote for me, hoping to finish among the 20 first glasses. The second part was to get chosen by a jury to be part of the 12 lucky finalists who would go to Paris for the announcement of the result. And, well, the title says it all, I am part of the 12 lucky finalists!
Here is a pciture of the design I did and of the 11 other designs that made it to the final.
Illustration Friday of 2011
Over the course of last year, I participated a few times at the “illustration friday” challenge. Here is a selection of my submissions.
For those of you that do not know the “illustration friday” blog, here is the description you can find on their about page:
“Illustration Friday is a weekly illustration challenge. A topic is posted every Friday and then participants have all week to come up with their own interpretation.”
Great fun to do and follow!
