My collaboration with Blaise Dehon for the “ça flim” cineclub is still in the works. We just finished this second poster. Blaise did the illustration and I worked on the graphic design.
The hard part about this poster was to announce two short movies in one poster. And I think it worked out quite nicely.

Latest exhibitions

I haven’t posted here for a while now. Things seem to have moved too fast lately for me to spare some time and post about what was going on. I’ll try to catch this up in the coming weeks and I’ll start right away with photos of two exhibitions I took part in on last week-end. One was part of the “parcours d’artiste” (artists’ walk) in Limal, I was showing a series of sketches done over a period of about a year. The other one was part of a jazz festival in Liberchies, I was showing a series of portraits of jazz musicians and it was taking place in the church where Django Reinhardt was baptised (I love that!). Both went well, many people at both exhibitions (even though it does not show on the pictures I took while setting them up…). More news to come soon, I hope.

The movie critics blog I have been working with for a few months now has stated another project in which Blaise Dehon and I will be involved. They satrted a movie club where they’ll be playing a movie a month. They are doing so in one of the most prestigious galeries in Brussels, galeries de la reine. Blaise and I will be working on the posters, here is the first one and the original drawing bellow.

DUVEL glass contest, I won!

That’s it! I won the Duvel glass contest!
The final was taking place this last friday in Paris, ther were 12 finalists and I was the last one standing, out of 850 participants from England, Holland, Belgium and France. I won’t lie, I am proud of it, and very, very happy about this great opportunity. The glass will hit the stores at the end of june. Now, back to the drawing table to fine-tune the design for production.
