I started working on this series of portraits in 2013. I love jazz, I love the music, I love the clubs and I am very impressed by the pure talent of the players. In 2016, I started working on portraits of Belgian jazz musicians. There is a long history of excellent Belgian jazz musicians (including, of course, Toots Thielemans) and the new generation is even more promising than any generation before. This part of the series is still in the works too.
